Yes, a Dome Tribe, I looked for one a while ago but didn't come up with anything.

Since the Admin requested pics I’ve added a few of my Non-traditional geodesic dome that I built for Burning Man 2004.

It is 30 foot in diameter, 15 feet tall. It weighs over 1,000 pounds, over 1,200 linear feet of angle iron, nearly 270 struts, 100 bolts-washers-spacers-nuts, 180 panels, 540 zip ties hold those panels on, over 700 sq feet on the inside and it encloses almost 7,000 cubic feet.

The actual shape is a stellated truncated icosahedron (same as a soccer ball).

This design is not nearly as strong a traditional geodesic. It was chosen because there are many traditional Geodesics at burning man and I wanted to be different. The golden ratio can be found everywhere in this design, which is fitting for an art festival. I still need to finish updating my website with the construction details, I hope to get that done just after x-mas. In the mean time there are a few more images if you’re interested.

Thanks again for starting the Dome home tribe.
Bring on the Domes.
