Hi folks,
I've been a little slow to update and add content on this tribe. I apologize for this, I have been a little wrapped up with work and research and honestly haven't been inspired to keep it fresh. Its been hard to talk about building my dome, because I dont even have a place picked out where I want to put one yet. Site selection is going to be a big deal because I'm in the process of planning for developing a eco-village type community out here in the MD, DC, VA greater metropolitain area, which is to say probably somewhere in MD or VA, but not too far that a commuter shuttle becomes unreasonable.

Anyways instead of creating new tribes or mailing lists... [I dont need anymore to moderate currently] I am going to broaden the scope of my exsisting tribes to include the many focuses that encompass being an environmentalist who is trying to live the good life, the proper way.

So with that I am updating the Mission Statement of this Tribe to include the broadened scope of this Dome Home Tribe. I want to add that encourage anyone who has questions about the changes, or simply wants to add some content to keep things interesting to do so!

Mission Statement:

Too hip to be square, your either looking for information on building your own dome home, already live in a dome home and dont mind answering questions and sharing infor or just curious. Do you really need a reason? Everything from temporary installations to permanent dewellings.

This tribe will also cover sustainable living practices, to include but no limited to building materials, construction methods, gardening, alternative energy generation and installation, heating and cooling of structures, and much much more.
